Tour Plan

We will come to your hotel or the airport in Fez, pick you up, and drive you to the Sahara desert. En route, we will stop at Ifrane and then in the Cedar Forest, where you can observe Barbarian Apes in their natural environment (but we can’t guarantee this as they don’t usually visit).
We may stop for lunch in Midelt while Travelling through different landscapes (typically here, but we can be flexible depending on when you used to have lunch and your desire).
We’ll go via Ziz Valley and Tizi Ntlghamt after lunch before reaching the Sahara desert.
A camel guide will be ready for you when you arrive in the Sahara desert so you can begin your camel ride across the sand dunes and enjoy the sunset.
We get together around the fire after supper to enjoy the nighttime desert trek, with traditional Berber drums.

In the morning, we will get up early to enjoy a beautiful sunrise on the dunes then take a camel ride back to the hotel for bathing. After freshening up and breakfast we’ll leave for Tinghir and the Todra GorgYou’ll get up early to witness what might be the most beautiful sunrise of your life.
You will return to the camp for breakfast after sunrise. You will depart for Rissani or Erfoud, Toudra Valley, and the Todra gorges—the highest and narrowest canyons in Morocco—after breakfast at the camp.
We’ll drive to Dades Valley after lunch in the middle of the gorge (or even before, if you plan to undertake other desert activities). The places to stay the night will be Dades Valley, Kelaa Magouna, or Ouarzazate Kasbahs, Riads, or Hotels and finally arrive in the Dades Valley, where we will have a dinner and spend the night.

We will go through the Dades Valley in the direction of Skoura and Ouarzazate after breakfast in our accommodations. The Skoura Valley road is known as the “way of the thousand Kasbahs,” and it offers plenty of chances to capture some of your best travel photos. Proceed to “the Hollywood of Africa,” Ouarzazat. The largest kasbah in Morocco, Ait Ben Haddou, is the location of lunch. Following our tour of this UNESCO-designated matrimonial historical monument, we will cross the High Atlas Mountains and go through the magnificent Tizi ‘n’ tichka pass (2260m). We will have time to pause, take in the breathtaking scenery, and tour the cooperative producing argan oil. It will be late afternoon when we get to Marrakech.

This 3-day trip was a fantastic adventure for budget-conscious travelers like myself! The price was very reasonable, and everything was included – transportation, meals, accommodation (including comfortable tents in the desert), and even the camel trek! Sure, the accommodations were basic, but they were clean and functional. Our guide, Omar, was a real gem – funny, informative, and always willing to help us find the best deals on souvenirs. We even managed to squeeze in some haggling in the bustling souks of Marrakech! A great tour for budget travelers who want to experience the highlights of Morocco in a short amount of time.

This 3-day tour from Fez to Marrakech via the Sahara was a fantastic cultural and culinary immersion! We started in Fez, where we took a fascinating walking tour through the medina, learning about the history and architecture. Our guide, Amina, even took us to a hidden gem – a traditional spice shop where we sampled exotic Moroccan spices. The drive through the Middle Atlas Mountains was breathtaking, and we stopped at a Berber village for a delicious home-cooked meal and a chance to interact with the locals. The highlight was the Sahara Desert – the camel trek at sunset was magical, and the desert camp offered a feast of traditional Berber dishes under the stars. Marrakech was a foodie paradise – we indulged in street food at Djemaa el-Fnaa square and enjoyed a cooking class where we learned to make the iconic pastilla. A perfect tour for those who want to experience the best of Moroccan culture and cuisine!

This 3-day whirlwind from Fez to the Sahara and finally to Marrakech was an action-packed adventure! We started by getting lost in the vibrant labyrinthine alleyways of Fez, a sensory overload of sights, sounds, and smells. Leaving Fez, the scenery changed dramatically as we crossed the Middle Atlas Mountains in a comfortable 4×4. We stopped at breathtaking viewpoints and charming Berber villages, learning about their traditions from our friendly guide, Ismail. The highlight was definitely reaching the Merzouga Desert – the camel trek at sunset over the golden dunes was exhilarating, followed by an evening of Berber music and stargazing under a million stars. Marrakech was the perfect final stop, a bustling city where we explored the vibrant Djemaa el-Fnaa square and marveled at the intricate details of Bahia Palace. An unforgettable trip!
